This for whites who wanna denounce rap but not completely. I feel like this sound has a huge underground cult following in Japan. Its not bad, outside of some sonics that are just not for me, the music isnt terrible. Its a mix of very bubbly anime intro sounding genre bending pop with hip hop influences, like a hip hop flavored La Croix. Its not for everyone. Its fun tho when you break it down theres allot going on as far as sounds, and genres, rhythms and instruments with all the effects, its just they all don’t always mesh or hit my personal preference the right way. I think with a bit more clarity, dialing back on the annoying and maybe up on the song structure and catchiness and this could be a movement. Till then I wouldn’t put this on in public. Let the nerds and weirdos have this tho, enjoy yall selves.
