Ok first of all, Cochise has decent amount of dynamics and inflections in his voice. He manages to find some nice cadences and occasionally ramps up to double time trap. All of these delivery skills can make for an enjoyable and interesting record, which is why it’s so much worse that this one was terrible. You can tell the boy really feels the music, but has literally nothing to say. I can tell there is potential here, just based on stylistic choices alone. The beats are wild and I’m here for it. Take your time with it though, there isn’t a song on here that should have taken more than 15 minutes to write and thats a problem. You want your legacy to be “The guy who rapped like those other guys” ?. Some people are just bad rappers, Cochise aint that, but this is lazy and generic. Skip this joint and wait for the homie to mature in his writing.
