Project dances along the line of ok and acceptable, maybe a little boring. For Gunna fans this will be missing allot of variety and creativity that used to come in spurts because of affiliations, features and such. For new listeners, this will not sound any different from any other artist in his lane. He doesn’t even sound like a top guy in his lane. Its just allot of generic singy rap, pseudo sad, came from the mud raps. Sometimes you can understand it and sometimes it has drums but most of the time its just uninteresting. I would have probably been ok with a pure negativity drop about snitching and all that good stuff, spice things up. The production on here is solid but neither him or the beats wanted to outshine eachother. Its just meh. Releases like this make me question why the mainstream cares so much about this or even those die hard mainstream only sheep or fans. You can throw out more than you take from this.
