This is a quick three piece that’s halfway buttoned up. “Shout to the clown, had to put him in the ground” is just lazy writing. Project overall lacks imagination in the lyrics. The production and construction is nice though. Each song features an open verse, and the full instrumentals are also included. Gucci Mane promises to feature the best verses from potential trappers on an upcoming project. Nice, pushing the culture, just in the wrong direction. The 3 songs on here emphasize drug dealing, gun violence and misogyny in a straightforward boring way. The flow is polished, as you would expect from someone doing this for a minute, but should we keep hoping for mainstream artists to transcend the streets and push a positive agenda? I don’t know, but bang these instrumentals, skip the verses. You don’t need that kind of energy in your life.
