This how you put together a variety filled versatile album, while never straying away from your rap voice and grit. This dude sounds dope, got a very street rasp to his voice, that also translates when he sings or is just vibing. The content is very real, and has layers that caught me off guard. The pacing is dope, the weaving between banger and smooth gives this way more depth. The features contrasted nicely, and honestly only complaint is that I wanted to hear him go toe to toe with some other emcees every now and then. This album for grown folks. It’s got heart, it’s got seasoning and more. Throw this on if you wanna hear what a 90’s album would’ve sounded like with current day sonics and mixing. I hope this gets all the spins it deserves. In rotation.
