There are raps in abundance on this one. Its the good and the bad of this. It also depends on how you ingest music. To start all the beats on here are super dope, even the classic flips hit. This captures that complete album feel entirely, it is a complete thought heavy on the grown man shit. This dude does allot on here, he is a MC through and through. All of the raps, he just lets you have it, with no regard for your mental capacity. Its not bad but it does have too many moments where the songs hit the point of outstaying its welcome, and the content degrades slightly. First track had a great fix for this with the beat flip to keep things interesting but when the beats don’t do that he tends to overdo some of his flows and rhyme patterns so much so that after the 3 minute mark, songs start to slowly decline. Most of this passes that 3 minute mark. When it doesn’t the songs shine but you don’t get much of that. Overall its still dope you just will understand that this easily could have ranked higher. In rotation.
