NorCal Never Sleeps. Crank those synths up bro. This SacTown rapper transitions effortlessly between Hyphy and heartfelt. I love the west coast light production. It’s not too low rider, and that wouldn’t suit his delivery anyway. From a writing standpoint it’s fairly basic in terms of technicality, no wild punchlines standing out, no crazy internals or tongue twisters but everything is said with a swag that keeps you listening. This joint isn’t gonna be on repeat for me, as it lacks the wavy catchiness i’m looking for, but I wouldn’t be mad if it came on.
