Project is a good time and unapologetically blue. The incorporation of the blues, all the beats and samples fucking slapppppppppped, and then with all that soul put together this man is fucking rapping about all the things that we need in this rap music now. You have all the proud blackness, you have all the current events awareness, all the nostalgic reminiscing and its all delivered with a dope cadence, punchlines and different flows. Its a formula that is so rare in this music but also so raw that you cannot deny it. The pacing is dope, and him keeping on theme and the production keeping on theme as well makes for a dope ass project. You can tell this was made with love and with the idea of a really embracing and letting you know his name. I was here for it all. This is easily in rotation, and if you don’t like it, you need a reminder that you are a guest in this culture or you are racist.
