This dude is too much of a bop generator to not be on more radars, even if he is billboard famous. What separates him from all that mainstream noise is the content. This is more very rap forward pop, but has the energy of like R&B artists. The subject matter is relatable, dark, sometimes extremely honest, even when its from the “Famous” perspective. The fact that all that heavy content is delivered in a the most sonically entuitive, catchy, replay heavy ways makes this really hit. The variety is also insane. There is always the truth in the having money and resources to get the quality and sound up there, but this is that and him just actually being talented and having something to say. This has all the mainstream vibes, but done better and with more heart. Throw this on if you want all that mainstream jazz, without the soullessness. In rotation.
