Nice stories & experiences over potentially legendary beats. Like the potential is there but the writing didn’t hold us up to that expectations. Not to say this isn’t an enjoyable album, but it’s like “speakeasy” or “on the porch, smoking a joint on a Sunday” enjoyable. Nothing too exciting here at all. Almost felt like the same 16 over different loops energy wise. I really liked the production. Maybe more features would have broadened the flows & created more of a contrast to his vibe. And if you listen to his music, we all know he’s always this chill I just wish the writing was better in the fact that it was more memorable cause it just feels like background music after a while yet I know subconsciously he not saying no goofy shit from the couple lines that do occasionally stand out. Maybe 1 song I’d go back to but that’s bout it.
6/10 – T.R.3
