Project is strange, unique, and very much all her. For 15 tracks its short with a good amount of replay value. She can rap, she can sing, put together some hooks and get her message across. This honestly felt like just reading a few pages of someone’s diary, or like a legit soundtrack to someone’s thoughts within a day or so. From the subject matter, to the sounds, to the bars all the way to the track titles, there’s is alot going on here and its not really trying to make perfect sense. Its making sure you know its complex, but has simplicities, it’s fun but has its darkness, so on and so forth. Pacing is all over but never feels jarring or unexpected. This honestly felt like she knows she talented but needs you to understand that she does things her own way and that’s how it will be until she’s done. Highly recommend you check this out and take from it what you need. In rotation.
