This is what listening to street shit should feel like. This exactly what i’m expecting when listening to street shit from a place i’m not too familiar with. Not only did this feel like music from his area, but it felt like just real shit he’s been through and is going through. It hit, from the production, to his voice, his lingo, down to the infinite amount of homies he’s got that he mentions need to be free’d. What’s even doper is it hits that mainstream quality and sometimes the sound, without sacrificing any of its identity or originality. Features on this were dope, added some nice contrast, would’ve been nice to get a few more rapper rappers on it but its still dope. Pacing was solid, and the closeout was strong. This in rotation easily, but I can only imagine how dope this is to someone from his hood, instant classic in they eyes for sure.
