Basement Bangers. Verses were hot, hooks were lacking. This is a tricky one, cause it’s just a lot of shit talking with that real weathermen/ eastern conference underground sound. I could see Cold Sholda on uncle howie records with ILL Bill. While for the most part this project is straight to the point life threatening bars, there are brief stints of impeccable writing with layered punchlines. I just wish every bar was that good. With rainy night beats and a dark alley delivery, this one if for the OG’s.
