This project as far as sparring on wax, was very one sided. You had Ace Park with a higher pitch voice who was rapping but honestly if he wasn’t the first verse he didn’t stand a chance. Opening tracks you can get with his cadence and flow, he wasn’t saying anything crazy but his pocket was solid, but when he would follow Chris, it would really showcase the difference in skill, and presence. Chris was weaving in some real talk, with some flows and punches but the delivery took precedence over all. It really added life to the beats. Ace was working too but sometimes what he was saying when compared almost seemed like rapping to just rap. The production is solid on this, got some nice variety and really shines on the more open beats. Pacing is cool, it started solid, middle was meh and then ended with a bit of a bang. Im not mad at this duo, I just think that the contrast needs to go deeper than voices and flows. Once the pens match up and also the believability they could do some work. In rotation either way tho.
