Lo Fi Thuggery. Posthumous albums can be strange and seem out of place. The production here was interesting and gritty enough to match Price’s scratchy delivery. I would say all the features outshine Sean on this project in terms of technical ability but the real draw is just getting to hear more bars from someone a lot of people consider a legend. This is 7 tracks coming in at 19 minutes and I feel like it’s cohesive enough to sound like an album, instead of a bunch of demo’s someone found on a windows 95 computer, which often happens with these albums released after an artist dies. I would’t use this to introduce people to Sean Price, but for a fan, it’s a great addition.
