Suburban Street Life. Every song on here is specifically about the movie. No hip hop head is gonna bump any of these tracks. This is however a great introduction to PG rap for kids. There is none of the stereotypes of drug dealing or misogyny, no gang talk or unnecessary violence. It’s truly hip hop in an art form to tell a story of perseverance and emotional struggle. With a line up of a few top tier, and all chart topping artists, these names are people we are all familiar with. I was disappointed by a few verses, lil Wayne and future mainly, but JID killed it. This project is dope for the youth, or for the middle aged web slinging fanatic.
