Its not a bad being compared to a legend but I do understand why it would upset someone because outside of having a similar voice, nothing else is similar as far as how they rap. This dude raps his fucking ass off. That is absolutely undeniable. You feel it all, his cadences, flows, technicality, inflections, the way he sets up his punches, and weaves from haymakers, to gems, to shit that he fucks with. On top of him going crazy on every track the beats on here go just as fucking hard. This project has allot, and invites you to listen multiple times to catch more things. Off one listen I caught a bunch but feel like there was way more I missed, like the amount of hip hop homage he pays, lessons, lighter punches, and just overall connection to the theme. This is one of those albums that rappers will listen to and think, I wanna have at least one drop hit like this one does. In rotation.
