Half time haymakers. Just a bunch of braggadocio, and that’s okay. The punchlines range from good to great, but the filler is all recycled shredded source magazines. The whole vibe here is symphonic instrumentals and slow, confident, calming rap. I can’t help to think that a few of the songs would have hit infinitely harder if the verses were on a classic g-funk beat. The writing on the first half of this project pales in comparison to the second half. Johnnytra$h seems to know what his bag is, not garbage, but leaning into that gutter talk. I liked this jahn, and im sure he here’s this a lot, but it would have been a bucket if it was a little faster.
