This project is 4 songs, and out the gate I couldn’t wait for it to be over. I could go down a list of new rapper tropes and dont’s and this EP would hit most of them. Everything on this can be best described as flat. His delivery, the mix, the production, the content, the pacing, all of it is just very flat. It lacks energy, its too consistent and not in a good way, and it honestly tells me that he heard his music was dope too early from people and is comfortable in this bag. It all needs allot of work, his stiff delivery, while keeping everything glued together flow wise, had no excitement via inflection or wordplay, it was all very new rapper sounding. The content had moments but then would dive into word salad, rhyming words just to rhyme disguised as shock value or humor. None of it was delivered properly. The beats had no real body to them, just flat sounds, like someone recording themselves rapping over a preset keyboard track with no bass, and then recording everything on a phone. The drawing board that he needs to go back to might also need work.
