Verses lure them in but some of the Hooks need some barbs on this one. A lot of nods to the legends like Tupac, Biggie, Jay-Z and Nas but those tracks can come off a little unoriginal. Notes’ strong suit is multis, almost always perfect, never needing to slant rhyme and sometimes going on extended runs of some double helix heaters . Super interesting melodies drive most of the tracks causing even the slower deliveries to appear to have a lot of energy. Social commentary is scathing and sounds as if Notes82 has his ear to the tear gas clouded streets. This is dope writing over better production and for sure has some replay value.
