Project is very fucking dope. Be warned you are going to get hit with allot out the gate. Allot of smooth beats but by no means is this man letting you relax. You are getting hit with masterful wordplay, very thoughtful rhymes and his very clear cadence and delivery. You gonna hear every syllable regardless of the flow or speed. Whats dope is nothing came off overly wordy or preachy, the balance is here and he mentions word salad on one of the tracks but fails to categorize his brand of it. Its not a Wendy’s salad or even restaurant quality, this the salad you get at an island mans crib after he foraged for himself early while you enjoy your vacation. This has it all, the production is dope, the content is dope, the feature is solid too. Only things I had to really dig for and find is that some tracks he does bring up some very dated themes in pop culture that seem like tracks were in the tuck for a minute and some hooks just didn’t take tracks home how they should. Outside of that, this manages to hit all notes as far as a dope underground, need I say backpacker release. It gives you that grown man time machine feel while still letting you know its new and fresh. In rotation.
