Boom Bap for old heads. I wouldn’t be mad if one of these tracks popped up while I’m shuffling my music on a road trip. I wouldn’t throw the album on and listen straight through. The cadence is identical on every song, and barring the hooks, verse are kind of interchangeable. Highlights are when Scoob Rock leans into the Jamaican patois. Solid inspirational heartfelt, if not simple raps. The few features added a needed influx of speed that kept the project interesting. Give this one a spin.
