This is a masterclass in laid back flow. Rhymes are very tight but delivery is nonchalant. You generally have 4 bars to hook someone, or they may skip the track. A$AP Twelvyy has the formula down, coming out the gate on every song with some slick wordplay or clever punches. This album surprised the hell out of me. I had very little confidence going in, not the biggest fan of acronym rappers. Twelvyy laces a plethora of gems over soulful beats and out raps every feature. Content runs the gamut from street talk, love songs, life lessons and braggadocio. This is a well rounded glimpse into the New New York sound that old heads need to pay attention to. Twelvvy rips fast melodic raps while keeping it Bronx, everything you want in a good record, that would be a classic if a few songs were cut.
