Nothing more dangerous than a veteran who is consistently in the top fiver ranks of hip hop having fun. This is just that. Hes doing new things, hes doing old things but also doing what hes known to do with new twists and adjustments. Its dope. The production on here works because he was having a good time on it. The variety is here and the pacing just makes this easy to loop. Its type short too and really had me wanting to run back songs. Only 2 features on here, which honestly weren’t needed but they did they thing. 21 was solid, but the 50 Cent features had me on Amazon looking up bullet proof vests and hard copies of Bulleproof and Blood on the Sand. Nas is one of those emcees that mastered what he does so long ago, that when he adds new things to it, it cant even sound bad. This is street poetry, with splashes of dope hip hop lore. He is hip hops Dr. Sebi but also on his cheat days, we gotta protect him at all costs. In rotation.
