This project is amazing. Its got that soul hip hop is missing nowdays. That old school Kanye, J. Cole, Lupe, Blackstar, type soul. The production on here tells its own story, and pacing wise it really carries you through this project effortlessly, making it seem shorter than it is but also making you want to run it back. Then you have Black just sliding on this, he doing some singing, lots of rapping, all food and medicine, and honestly the way him and the beats just work together as far as adding treats, emotion, ups, downs all of that, you just get this overwhelming feeling that this is really that amazing. Cant listen to this then have a calm music conversation with someone in they teens or early 20’s. Features were guests and added hints of they own spice to this already perfect project. Project made me wanna add more books to my list for the year, made me wanna do better, but also made me feel sad because of how much I missed and needed this. If this isn’t in your rotation then you might be lost in sauce and not know it.
