For something that dropped in 2014 it sounds clean today. This is dope, this is from that era when people spoke about Brooklyn rap, this what you would kinda expect, not drill or no other bullshit thats not actually Brooklyn. This hits that midmark where even back then it wasnt gonna blow your mind or rank on any top lists but, it was also not going to be disrespected or called wack by any means. Its straight to the point raps, grounded street raps, not that super agro movie thuggery. Dude can rap, dope cadence, that rasp, some solid penmanship, put it all together and you know he has a collection of a fitted caps, cardboard still in it. Production will put you in a time machine for sure, and the pacing is solid. Its a complete thought via raps, loops, boom bap drums, and a couple skits. Cant go wrong with this one, this is when rappers were starving and needed to put stuff out to make sure people knew they could fucking spit. In rotation.
