This album plays like the training montage from Rocky IV, bunch of OG’s getting ready to punch the new kid on the block. Bun B isn’t super technical but makes up for it with swag in spades. This is a masterclass in braggadocio, for all you young cats, you need to have some accomplishments before you try talking about them. 10 tracks, 18 artists and not a weak verse in earshot. Statik Selektah pulls the orchestration on this project together like a victory march, with lots of horns and celebratory drums. This is that Street King shit you been waiting for.
