This joint is heat all the way through. Even the trappier songs still have well crafted lyrics. Lacrae sounds like a mix of Kendrick and Anderson .Paak with top notch production throughout the whole album. A lot of the tracks do some real interesting things sonically with well placed autotune or cranked reverb at the right moment. I will warn you young cats though, a bunch of these run about 4 minutes, which is how we used to get down. Hey, if the content is good and the beat is rocking, we need more than two 8 bar verses and hook. Be on the lookout for the little Bone Thugs sample and bump Still in America a few times to catch it all. The features all showed up and matched the crazy flows Lacrae is jamming with. Project is almost pristine.
