This a NBA2k soundtrack if it was made for and by black folks, not algorithms robots and submissions. This project is a party, tho it feels like its a bit late to the summer banger party it will get its spins or at least deserves them. The variety is dope its got the whole marvel universe of mainstream artists, but they all doing what they do and even working together for that extra excitement. Highkey sounds like he cared this time and listened to all the music since hes not drowning it with his annoying voice but it also all has a consistent quality and big feel to it. You can tell everyone actually came so he was prolly dishing out that money, even that garbage wick and kodak track sounds like they tried, like a humble F in a class from the kids who eat crayons. Overall project is a party, its got everything, lil bit of drama, vets, legends, ratchetry, all of that stuff you wanna end the summer with and leave it there. I enjoyed it allot, it brought me back a few times, production was up there too. In rotation for sure.
7.9/10 – John D.
