Project is solid. You get all the Meeks that we have enjoyed over his career copied and pasted a couple times with some solid features. Theres no bar being raised, this is rich Meek rapping about rich problems and rich struggles while trying to stay street and grounded. Lowkey im not being rich but hearing a rapper being unable to go to his hood because he would probably get shot is more real to me than mansion having ass rappers talking bout they always in the streets but TMZ catch them in the most gentrified areas eating fancy ass chic fila or chipotle, whatever got good service and is overpriced. It was solid, only downfall is by the end of this you feel like he literally was like I need 6 of each type of song then we can scramble these 3 sets into a long ass project. Woulda hit more if it was shorter but either way it hit. Features showed up too. To summarize, you have aggressive, singy rap street, and fast rap drooly meek, that’s it. In rotation.
7.5/10 – John D.
