Where to start? This album has everything a Cole fan wants. It has lyrics, it has heart, it has delivery, it has fire production, it has top tier quality, it has dope melodies, and it has BARS. The project info states “One of rap’s most beloved MC’s refuses to be out worked” and Cole naturally seems hungrier than ever. This man did not have to snap like he did, but he did, and I’m 110% here for it. Track 8 covered some personal topics that I love to hear from him as well, and that was something I was hoping to hear on this project. Even when he dived into the KOD new school vibes, he still didn’t miss a beat. This is a very solid album and Cole proved to us yet again that he’s a well-deserved top tier lyricist.
10/10 – D.
