This is the album I hoped Yelawolf dropped on Shady Records as his debut. This is Yelawolf in top form. Starts out strong in volume 1 with that Jelly Roll song that’s hard to follow up. Yet he keeps the pacing throughout the whole album. And he carries the whole album with limited features. With great content and impeccable production, it’s an overall must listen. Volume 2 is not as good as volume 1, but it’s still pretty good. It’s like he was running out of gas, yet it was still an enjoyable listen with a a couple bangers sprinkled in. Just a great representation of good music that the Deep South is capable of producing. I highly recommend this one. Don’t sleep!
