This how you put out an album. I got shit on here for not rocking with his EP leading up to this and now for those awful stans, this is exactly why. This was that much better, more effort, more heart and more soul. This has that classic slick fast rapping JID the more articulate slowed down meticulous punch heavy version of him. I was here for both. The production on this really shines and has great variety, the features too, different styles and great contrasting but its very clear he is the star of this show. He is doing it all at any speed. From mixing up why he does this, thanking fans, to braggadocio raps, slipping in some mainstream or just really talking some very aware shit for folks of that nature. You hear the spillage village sound all over this and it will draw you in and make it hard to turn this one off. Great pacing, replay value, switch ups and more, all it needed was J.Cole on one of the more slowed down tracks. In rotation.
