This some west coast type shit with a side of Jesus. They both brought their own brand of smoothness to this that was super solid and worked with the beats. The beats are smooth but with that crunchy west coast bop too it, some solid samples, might go harder for those who grew up with that sound. The pacing is solid and the features all added a nice bit of contrast to these 2 already contrasting. Project was fun, felt like them rapping about the typical stuff you would hear on this but with more religion and no cursing. Honestly for how good they weave the faith into the bars and such, I feel like people really wont even notice, not to throw shade, I just know Christian rap can go toe to toe with the mainstream mainstream but the fact that it has a bit more religion in it than most people tend to not give it its flowers. If you are a parent, this is for you to bump around the young ones without feeling like you gotta settle for kids bop and what not. In rotation.
