From the album title right into the opening track, you couldn’t have curated this any better in my opinion. This is how you put out an album, not only has it been a minute, but you can. hear the amount of time, love, passion, blood, sweat and tears. The pacing is solid but honestly the way this starts is extremely heavy. Him having a cool voice, with a dope southern delivery and lingo is a bonus. He can rap and rap he does, hes just mixing up flows, dropping some gems, doing the rap rap thing but what he excels at is bringing you into his life, whether its from imagery, experience, or sound. He’s hooking all over the place and sometimes without even changing up the sound or effects on his voice and its still hitting. The variety is dope, the creativity is here, the few features were solid but he contrasts himself enough so they weren’t needed. Project like this just proves he should be a star. In rotation.
