Gritty raps and even grittier beats. This is what I expect to hear when a rappers put allot of emphasis on the words real hip hop. It’s not raising the bar, its not changing the game, its doing what it does right. That’s spitting some straight to the point dope shit over some dope beats with some dope cuts. Tho its boom bap beats the variety and energy of the beats vary, but also stay in that evil sounding realm. The raps are here, the simple hooks follow and honestly it’s a good time. I say simple in flow, cadence and inflection but there’s allot of wordplay, imagery, and atmosphere here. This white knuckle baggy clothes hip hop for folks with old man strength. In rotation.
