It’s always going to be impressive when this many people end up on 1 project and it sounds clean and cohesive for the most part. The fact that this got variety, has the nerve to have hooks, and never take its foot off the pedal when it comes to contrast and raps. This brought me back to the days when I would burn or even buy mixtapes and just listen without needing to know who was on it and be pleasantly surprised when I hear some shit that sticks and then go look up who it was. I will say a standout on this was Bypolar, everytime he was on a track his presence and honestly the shit he was saying even hooking demanded my attention and he did not disappoint. Everyone really showed up on this and made it sound more than just like back to back cyphers, they were following themes, adapting to the sonics accordingly and honestly never shying from their own styles and cadences. This might be a rap overload for some or exactly enough to get people to realize hip hop isn’t dead, mainstream hip hop culture is just the worst. Only bad thing I could say about this is its allot, and every song dances around 3-5 minutes, but either way in rotation. I also need answers when it comes to the cover art.
