I know Boldy be out here rapping his ass off but honestly all I hear is street poetry. The depth, the imagery, the layers, and honestly his cadence and flow just delivering gold to you. Then you have Chuck with the beautiful production. It works, its modern day street poetry as far as i’m concerned and should represent the modern day hood experience or at minimum a modern day take on the old hood experience. This duo works and I want more. Pacing is dope, the energy is great, Boldy mixing up some flows and trying minimal things worked. It didn’t need contrast but with a few select killers it could raise the bar. Throw this on behind some black movies, or shows, or even a long drive and I promise you will be a part of it. In rotation.
