This a bit of a cleanse to balance out the toxicity of today’s releases. With the album title and track names I was looking for an overkill on woke, food and medicine type shit to the point of posting a before and after of my skin glow post listening but this did not have that. It had small moments but overall is just an old school hip hop album. It’s got that cassette mix quality, solid pacing, dope samples and just raps. Its short with solid replay value and the features showed up to add that contrast and have fun with it. It’s very black and very proud which is needed always. Put this on to help speed up cookout season in your neighborhood or at least backyard. In rotation.
