This is such a deep, real, great take on hip hop that honestly just listening to it doesn’t give it justice. I need a deep dive on this from the artist himself because as much as im feeling and thinking things, I know that it won’t perfectly align with what his goal was. You have a structured layering meticulously put together of this hip hop shit we love, the things we love about it, but also the images, personalities or even environment it portrays. What makes it doper is this also can be mapped to an actual life that we all know or have somewhat lived or even seen from afar. The variety, the reality, the contrast, the creativity, but also the preservation and care put into it all really works. I mention budget on this page every now and then but at the end of the day everything has got to come from the blood the sweat the tears and passion, and honestly whatever this projects budget was, I know for a fact it wouldn’t even come close to the amount of love that went into this.
