This some elder head raps for those who don’t fully realize that they are elder heads yet. This project is talking that grown stuff for those who truly need it. It’s got the lingo, the cadences, the contrast, and all that dope street shit but with a bit more experience behind it. They talking that ignorant drug talk and gun shit but it feels more like bait to get you to learn a little something. More food than medicine but its still there. The production is solid but I couldn’t help but feel like the beats were just missing 1 thing to really bring more life to this, maybe it was variety or something with the mix but I couldn’t help but feel like it was just once the producer got something rocking he just looped that shit for the whole song. Again not bad just missing something that I cant fully articulate. The raps had this energy too where it was being done right but hooks could have had some more seasoning or a feature or 2 with a completely different energy to boost it. Either way its solid tho. In rotation.
