This afro sideburns music. As talented as this man is, it wasn’t enough to make this a banger all around but it was enough for a nice light black speakeasy vibe. For cats who wear leather in public but don’t take pics. He can sing his ass off for sure and sonically hes up there but when its just simple harmonies and patterns we’ve heard before over some simple beats with safe content, its just solid R&B and that’s really it. It gave me more of a clean the house vibe for the weekend, rather than a sing in the rain or grab air vibe. Not bad tho, there’s moments for sure but nothing felt like he was trying to catch that radio fire. In rotation for long drives but I don’t think this will make my shower concert rotation.
