As a Latino myself, Esta como que no pego Guey. I understand celebrating your heritage in your music, but sometimes that gets to be a bit much. And this album is a great example of that. As a song it’s enjoyable and you get what he’s going for, but as an 18 track album of the same thing just gets monotonous. Also the transition from English to Spanish just doesn’t blend well. Idk if it’s just because of the Puerto Rican dialect, but it sounds forced & unnatural. It’s borderline cringe at times. It’s like a no sabo kid who learned some Spanish trying to make a Spanish album after getting a “C+” on their Spanish test. Besides the pacing problem some of the raps from the main event is passable when he’s not rapping in Spanish and the features don’t really help with the exception of 8ch2Owens Aïda & Muñeca MC. Unless you wanna get in touch with your Latino roots, I’d skip this one.
