This album has me nostalgic for the Bay Area compilation from back in the day. This is a definitive Bay Area compilation. It highlights artist specifically from the 925 area of the East Bay. Encompassing cities like Antioch, Pittsburgh, and several others. Like all compilations, some songs hit, and some songs didn’t. Off top, the legends that were a part of this all showed out and elevated the tracks they were on. Special shout out to Mistah F.A.B., San Quinn, A-Wax, Shadow, Mr. Kee, Ad Kapone, Konu, Stinje & of coarse the late and great Jacka of the Mobb Figaz. The production kept it true to the Mob and Bay Area sound, and for the most part kept it in the spirit of the what weed smokers would want to hear from a Dankalation album. If you not from Tha Bay, you might not appreciate this project to much, and you can just pick and choose a couple songs that you fucked with. But if you from Tha Yoc or Tha Burg, and puff on that herb, this is right up your alley. Peep it out and see if you feeling it.
