This review is for the perverts who actually listen to this and not just gawk at the cover or looked up her info on google. This project is dope. This is about as new age R&B as it gets. It’s got the slow mellow trap beats. All the autotune and effects. Then you have a mix of toxicity, real life struggle, sadness, and some light. It has a real storyline to it that can take you for a ride depending on the relatability. The ride is a slow and emotional one. He mixes up his melodies and sonics well but there could always be more risks and attempts and flows added. This could’ve used a feature or 2 to really lock in that early The Weeknd project type feel to it. Project is dope while managing to feel finished but unfinished at the same time. This story needs closure, but it feels like we won’t get that until he does. In rotation.
