This project is one of those ones to keep those “hip hop is dead” folks fed for a few months. This is just dope chemistry between a master emcee and producer. Every beat on here knocks, all the raps not only bop, but give you something to think about and just to hold onto. Solid hooks, dope features and it’s all delivered along the lines of effortless but right below raising the bar, which isn’t a bad thing. The only thing on this that was throwing me off was some of the skits, its like skits about Marco Polo’s birth, immediately to a drug addiction, christmas and such, and in between these skits is just Ace going off on some hip hop shit, I just didn’t see the connection or maybe didn’t catch it via one listen. Outside of that, you got just back to back hip hop bangers that would go good behind some street hoop highlights. Throw this on and then go tell Shiggy he can kick rocks for dropping BABBADUECE. In rotation.
