This is what the future of this culture sounds like. I don’t care how old school you are, or how many pills you take, you cannot deny this sound, this content, and this honesty. This is the new age but with homage, without all the insecurity being hidden, and just an honest take on it from the ground up. This might throw people off because the quality is that of those who’ve made it, but the content sounds like someone putting every single ounce into trying to make it. The catchiness is here, the double time, the storytelling, the real grounded personal shit. He honestly did not miss at all on this. The only thing that I didnt get from this was that complete album feel. Something was needed to really close this out for me, whether it was a few more songs in between or just the full circle from how fucking hard the intro went. Either way, throw this on, and if you truly think the new school cannot be special, then maybe you are just stuck in a time. This will most likely be in my top 5 all year.
