Pastel rubix cube rhymes. This is soft core word porn. Lucy Camp has some of the most intricate and extended rhyme schemes I’ve ever heard. Matching syllables through entire bars to eloquently tell stories that feel personal and relatable. I’m definitely more into her faster rapping tracks but everything is crafted at a high level. This is some Tyler the creator, follow your own path, hip hop. Don’t expect wild punchlines or the drama you’re used to with mainstream femcees. This album is made for a focused listening experience, and if you don’t get you might need to work on yourself.
