My guys flow is stuck in the early 90’s. Not a bad thing at all, shows love for the classics and pays homage to an era. It just hits a point where you start to lose focus on what hes saying and just imitate his flow. Felt like when anime’s dub rappers. The production and cuts on this is in that era too but has way more variety. It honestly hits and carries this project. You start to realize when the beats a bit harder and tuned down his raps hit more, when its a bit more open and smooth his flow kinda drowns it. Features were solid and could have definitely used more to add more contrast. Pacing was dope too, this reminds if of albums I would bump on a walkman and ride my bike to. Subject matter is here, its clear its simple. You mix up the flows on this, and redo all the hooks and this dances around the idea of an easy underground classic. In rotation.
