This what cigarettes for sleep at 4 AM sound like. This a mix between gritty and smooth hood shit. Each song is a chapter of a hood story just smoothly being laid over the appropriate production. The chemistry between the MC and the producer is solid, it gets a clear picture and point across, with a solid bit of variety for people to choose from. Early can rap his ass off and does that, swagging and such, his hooks don’t fully match this energy and can make songs sound like ongoing verses. Its not bad but it does have moments of sounding extremely comfortable. No features so the contrast isnt here, but the pacing is a solid story on its own. You get some other voices on here, and a few hooks that pop and this ranks higher but as it stands its just solid and slowly takes away from its dope factor with how many songs are on here, regardless of how short they are. Not bad all around tho, something to spin a few times it just is missing those come back moments. In rotation.
